Since 1987, the Tallgren Games has raised money and awareness for the fight against blood borne cancers. The event originally consisted of a Friday Golf outing with prizes and reception at Madigan's Waterfront, baseball games all day Saturday with a BBQ for 500 folks that evening, and concludes with baseball games all day Sunday. Over a quarter of a million dollars has been raised from the golf outings and baseball games. The event drew college and professional players. Current MLB players Ryan Zimmerman and David Wright played in the baseball tourney.

Since 2010 the Tallgren has focused on raising donations for people in need, community service and 501-3c non-profits ...making a direct connection between those who contribute, and those who benefit.

"Paying it forward on a local, community level."

The Inaugural GENERATION REDIRECT Golf Tournament is the organization’s key
fundraiser to support projects and activities across GENERATION REDIRECT’s 4 core
pillars: Family Dynamics, STEM Education and Mentorship, Workforce Skills
Development, and Civic Engagement and Outreach. This event will provide you with
the opportunity to network, enjoy a round of golf, experience the features of the
beautiful Forrest Green Golf Club, and help the local community.
